Louisiana State University recently unveiled a new component of its recently renovated and expanded student rec complex — an outdoor leisure pool in the shape of the letters “LSU.”
The pool is part of Phase III of the school’s rec facility expansion and redesign project, which initially broke ground in 2013. The total cost of LSU’s rec facility project was $84.75 million, funded by student fees.
Behold: the recently-opened @LSUUREC Leisure River.

At 536 feet in length and 3-½ feet deep, the leisure pool is similar to a lazy river.
