The Assistant Director of Healthy Lifestyle Programs has responsibilities that encompass a wide variety of administrative, supervisory and programming duties in the areas of fitness and recreational (non-credit) instruction. These programs are designed to improve the quality of life of the LSU community by encouraging and supporting health and wellness as a lifestyle through the provision of safe, effective, and innovative programming. This position will provide support and facilitate the overall success of the programs to include day-to-day operation and long-term objectives. The duties include, but are not limited to, knowledge of recreation, current trends and research within the fitness industry, implementation of policies and procedures including business, safety, liability, and privacy, in addition to sound fiscal management and budgetary controls.
