The University of Virginia on Thursday announced members of its search committee to find a replacement for Craig Littlepage, who plans to retire as athletic director.
The group will be chaired by university President Teresa Sullivan, who is also stepping down next summer.
According to a press release from UVa, the school has retained Korn Ferry, an executive search firm that has aided in similar searches .
Among the search committee members are two UVa Board of Visitors members — Barbara Fried and Robert Hardie. Also, UVa women's rowing coach Kevin Sauer is among the seven members.
The others are:
Carolyn Callahan, a professor in UVa's Curry School of education; Marcus Martin, the university's vice president and chief officer for diversity and equity; Scott Dockter, the past president of the Virginia Athletics Foundation; and UVa law school student Phoebe Willis, who played field hockey as a Virginia undergraduate.
Littlepage said earlier this month he will leave when his replacement is chosen.
