An autopsy report has been released for 21-year-old Samson Goitom, who was found face-down in a hot tub at the Fallbrook YMCA in Lincoln, Neb., around 6:45 pm on March 20.

According to the Lancaster County Attorney's Office, Goitum died of "medical complications of drowning associated with epilepsy and developmental disorder." It is not clear whether a seizure was the cause of the drowning.

Lincoln Police told 1011NEWS that a YMCA employee was in the hot tub at the time of the incident. The employee said she was looking away from Goitum, toward the pool, and turned around to see him face-down in the water.

In a public statement, the YMCA CEO Barbara Betin confirmed the presence of the employee, saying, "The swim instructor, who was also in the hot tub, immediately began to remove the man, Samson Goitom, from the water with the assistance of other Y staff in the pool area. Other Y staff immediately called 911."

The Lancaster County Attorney’s Office has revealed that there will be no further criminal investigation.
