The Idaho State men's basketball team had an awful start to Saturday's game against Weber State, but faulty Holt Arena conditions cut the game short.

The game was interrupted with 15:02 left in the first half due to a leaking roof. Maintanance workers spent an hour trying to stop the leaking, but they were unsuccessful, and game was suspended. The conference matchup will be resumed in Pocatello at a future date.

Weber State led 13-2 when the delay occurred, and it will retain that lead when the game is resumed. The 15:02 left on the clock will also stay the same.

Holt Arena's ventilation system and insulated ceiling, combined with the wind, caused the snow on the roof to melt and drip onto the court, according to the Idaho StateJournal. Pieces of ventilation also fell onto the court during the delay, according to the Journal.

The Bengals are 3-12 overall and 0-2 against Big Sky Conference opponents. They continue conference play on Thursday against Eastern Washington.
