My idea off the cuff would be a relaxing area. Go to a high class five star spa and look at the waiting room. Chairs sound/music relaxing and great in a lockerroom to sit and relax say a no talking area? or have them create what it will. No one has ever had this and would be great as a trial. If people what to relax they don't need too much heat to do this. Also turn up the heat in this area to make it relaxing with only a towel on. Put the $ in robes or some thing?

Donna Wilson

Depends on your facility set-up and what you offer. Could use massage chairs or jacuzzi hot tubs with strict hygiene policies in place.

adam a lupinski, physical therapist/athletic trainer
fl

We recently had a fire in our facility in the locker room where one of the sauna's caught fire. Needless to say once renovations are done we are not getting more saunas. I am struggling to find other things I can put in the locker room to replace the sauna or the idea of a relaxing atmosphere so the members won't get too upset with me not getting more sauna's. A Sauna or Steam room are not options. I looked into the Hydromassage but it is too costly and won't really be a good profit center for me. Does anyone have ANY ideas of things I can or get that will create a relaxing environment in the locker rooms?

Angela Christopher, Club Owner
Anytime Fitness, SC
