The surface of a tennis ball will remove them on a wood floor, maybe it will work on the rubber. We cut them and mount them on a stick.

Did you try Soft-Scrub? IT is a soap but has a mild abrasive in the liquid for scrubbing.
Avoid the ones containing bleach. Try a small test-spot in the corner before using elsewhere.

Steve,
We just provided flooring for your new Monterey, CA CHOMP facility - not rubber, it is Taraflex. But, there are lots of rubber floors out there. Reground rubber and solid vulcanized type. Each have their own regimen to use. On the Taraflex you can use the tennis ball or you can use 'Speedball' by Johnson Diversity. But be careful with the Speedball. It has a pH over 12 and will ruin most rubber floors. But perfectly safe on the Taraflex @ CHOMP.
