I have the rubber mats as my floor (available from a number of distributors). How do people clean it. It's tough to just vacuum and mopping doesn't quite pick up the dirt or dustballs. I have to sweep and sweeping with a push broom is not very efficient. Do some people use a quick and effective technique to clean rubber mat flooring?

Actually have found vacuum (Hoover WindTunnel) to be very effective and efficient.

We use a commercial scubber on all our rubber mats. They have different sizes many that fit through a 36" doorway. Use water only many of the cleaners contain lemon which will melt the rubber.

Eric,
We are local to the bay area (located in the North Bay). I've taken a look at your facility's web page.
Are you talking about the black recycled flooring that you have on the floor (which looks just horribly installed btw) If you are talking the flooring, the suggestion from Lukasb of North West Rubber is a good suggestion. What you have to do is get a good wetvac and a microfiber mop or a more aggressive 175 rpm buffer or auto scrub machine. You need to apply the taski at a diluted rate (less diluted = stronger), scrub, brush with a microfiber mop, vacum up mess, repeat until clean, then you must rinse clean with water and let dry over night. What a lot of people don't realize is that is that it is the residue cleaners that cause the largest problem. So, rinsing is the most important step. Dirt sticks to cleaning residue. You have to get the cleaner off the floor.
You can get Taski by JohnsonDiversity from Waxie in the Bay Area or Centaur Floor Systems. (or ask your janitorial company to get it for you if you don't have an account).
But, if you are you talking about the fencing mats you put on top of the flooring? Fencing mats often have electrical components so you have to be careful. We did some fencing courts last year in Sacramento in Taraflex (see: http://athleticbusiness.com/galleries/project.aspx?id=442 ) but your facility definitely appears to have just simple plain black rubber.
