What policies does your facility have in place for prohibited behavior on multipurpose courts? Any difficulties enforcing those rules or policing users? In a club in my area, open-gym basketball players are barred from full-court games, but they play anyway — and then three 12-year-olds who just want to shoot around have to ask 10 grown men to move. Players aren’t supposed to argue or swear either, but you know how that goes. Any advice for rules that work?

we have a curtain that divides the court in half. they are welcome to play half court games, one side must be left open for drop in shooting

Thanks for the response — that's a great idea. How has it worked out for you? Any complaints from users? Any violators?

I'm working on a future AB article about this topic and am looking for additional feedback on how facility operators handle this issue...

Thanks again,
Mike
