I'm writing a feature article for an upcoming issue on people who have been instrumental in the construction of a sports, recreation or fitness facility. I'm hoping to profile people from a variety of backgrounds: a donor to a college athletic department, a high school booster, a Title IX plaintiff, a college president, a politician, a professional franchise owner. The one common thread is that they need to have been the person credited with having made the new facility a reality, either because of their financial support, advocacy or some other tireless effort. And, with any luck, they have an interesting story to tell about how the new facility came together. Got any suggestions for names to add to my list?
