Now that my son is moving to high school I thought paying for sports was over. The reality is it is only more expensive. I know what cost are involved at the youth level having been on the board for my cities baseball and football aorganizations. Those organizations try to cut down on the cost of registrations by selling calenders and such. It is a great idea, however, most parents end up buying them So it becomes a hidden cost. The same thing is happening in high school. I started to look at sports maketing businesses and thought it sounded like a good idea. Does anyone have experience with marketing corporate sponsors to youth sport programs and high schools? What are the barriers involved with the schools? Any information would be helpful.
