Basic purpose
To sell, market and promote all Cybex products directly to commercial customers.
Duties and responsibilities:
Responsible for developing a customer data base within the assigned region.
Achieve or exceed monthly revenue quota.
Achieve or exceed set forth margin requirements.
Manage travel budget.
Develop and follow-through on sales leads in assigned territory.
Manage and develop relationships with existing and potential commercial customers.
Perform product training and in-service seminars for customers.
Provide quarterly sales reports and product line forecasts to Regional Sales Director.
Qualifications and skills needed: Minimum formal education, experience and training:
Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of five years of outside sales experience is required. Current fitness certification or willingness to obtain upon hire is required.
Preferred education, experience and training:
5+ years of outside sales experience in the fitness/health/medical equipment industry is desired.
Other knowledge and skills:
Mathematical aptitude, excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be able to give effective presentations, personal computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets is required. Ideal candidate is within closest metropolitan market with established contacts in the commercial health and fitness industry.
High energy with the ability to achieve and deliver results in a fast paced environment.
travel: Will travel approximately 50% in the assigned region to call on regular and prospective customers. Attend national and regional trade shows.
Reports to: Regional Sales Director
