There's a new fitness center coming to town, and as an independent swimming pool, I'm interested in working together to offer joint memberships (between the organizations, although we're in two locations - but with only a short distance between the two). Anyone have any experience with this? Best practices? I'd love to hear some thoughts!

I don't have any direct experience but one of our local competitors used to "sell" pool access at a local hotel to their members. It seems like the benefits might weigh more heavily in favor of the fitness center. People who join the fitness center might like the added benefit of access to the pool (and be willing to pay more for that). People who join the pool seem unlikely to want (or need) the added benefit of access to a fitness center.
