We have modified the format of the program so that participants can sign up to attend each training course individually. The training courses are free to attend, however there is a $349 fee to enroll in the CSSP Review Course.
The National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS4) offers the Sport Security Professional Executive Track, which provides safety and security professionals (Professional, Collegiate, High School and Marathon) with an accelerated pathway for professional and career development. The Executive Track is designed to tie the various components of the CSSP curriculum into a unifying framework that prepares participants for the CSSP examination. The courses place special emphasis on the core knowledge domains of the CSSP certification, including Business and Facility Management, Emergency Planning, Emergency Management, Crowd Management, Legal and Regulatory and Security Principles and Practice.
Attendees have the opportunity to attend two (2) multi-day training DHS/FEMA courses at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. The first session spans four (4) days and includes the Sport Event Risk Management course as well as the Sports and Special Events Evacuation Training and Exercise course. The second session spans over three (3) days and offers the Sports and Special Events Incident Management course in conjunction with the CSSP certification review course, to prepare participants for the CSSP examination.

The training courses represent a cooperative effort between the University of Southern Mississippi’s National Center for Spectator Sport Safety and Security (USM/NCS4) and the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service’s National Emergency Response and Rescue training Center (TEEX/NERRTC), a member of the Texas A&M University System.
