SAN DIEGO — June, 2014 — Total Gym is making it easier for fitness professionals to lead engaging, exciting and effective workouts with Total Gym PRO - a web program with ios mobile delivery application (other platforms coming soon) that provides comprehensive group exercise and small group training routines as well as goal-oriented  personal training workouts.

Devised to supersede Total Gym training DVDs, PRO allows personal trainers and group instructors to spend less time designing classes or workouts and more time training.  Choreographed routines and detailed movement descriptions that enhance the learning process and provide phrases for cueing are updated monthly.

PRO is also loaded with pre-licensed music that can be matched to each exercise movement’s tempo to ensure entrainment or synchronization of class participants. The synchronous music drives exercise intensity, reduces the perception of effort and increases endurance by as much as 15 percent.

Fitness professionals can register for a free 14-day trial by visiting https://pro.totalgym.com/#register. Once in the program, they can access:

·         Streaming video of choreographed workouts created by Master Trainers

·         A breakdown of each exercise with A-B images

·         Pre-selected, licensed music

·         A forum to connect with other professionals online

Total Gym PRO is first, and foremost, a web-based application designed for trainers to learn new workouts and then sync them to their mobile device for quick instruction on-the-go or implementation during a class or session.  All workouts, once synched, can be accessed on demand without the need for internet service.
