Fall River, MA – SwimEx, Inc., an international leader in therapy and fitness pools, is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Secondi to its sales team. Secondi holds a master’s degree in sports and fitness from the University of Central Florida and a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Connecticut. Prior to joining SwimEx he was an assistant athletic trainer at Bucknell University, working in the sports medicine department.
“This job is a perfect fit for me,” says Secondi. “I have used SwimEx pools for rehab and exercise in a clinical setting with athletes and patients, and I’ve seen first-hand how they help clients return from injury quicker and remain healthy." While at Bucknell Secondi worked primarily with the men’s basketball program, women’s lacrosse, water polo, and golf teams. He managed the sports medicine department budget and mentored students as an approved clinical instructor. "In this position I look forward to using my diverse clinical knowledge to both sell the product and help educate consumers about the advantages and benefits of aquatic therapy."
According to SwimEx President Suzanne Vaughan, it is important for SwimEx team members to both know the product and be extremely knowledgeable about conditioning, fitness and therapy. “We are thrilled that Paul has joined our SwimEx team,” says Vaughan, "and I look forward to his success."
