(Clearwater, FL)  October 6, 2014The Sports Facilities Advisory, a company whose growth recently necessitated its expansion to include sister firm Sports Facilities Management (SFA|SFM), has announced the recent appointment of Emily Pfeiffer as Marketing Manager. SFA|SFM Chief Revenue Officer Eric Sullivan state that SFA’s market position as the industry leader is not something the company takes for granted, (1) making SFA|SFM’s new hire a natural progression in response to the growing market. As Marketing Manager, Emily will oversee and develop the company’s upcoming rebranding and launch of the new SFA SFM Website as well on on-going marketing efforts, including social media and print campaigns, in addition to authoring formal proposals for public and private prospects.

According to SFA|SFM Founder and CEO Dev Pathik, the youth sports segment is booming—so much so that SFA’s expansion was not an option, but rather a necessity that led SFA to reach out to prospects who could assist the company in navigating the development. Emily joins SFA|SFM with six years of experience in managing marketing programs including her most recent role within Bright House Networks. Although she specializes in driving the successful campaigns of web-based startups, national cable networks and software companies, Emily asserts that the most impactful and rewarding of her marketing experiences has involved children, families and wellness programs. Her personal drive to join SFA|SFM stemmed from her own athleticism as a former NCAA Division I athlete in Conference USA (Track and Field), as well as her lifelong interest in recreational activities, including cycling. When questioned about her experience thus far in working with SFA|SFM, she replied:

“SFA/SFM appreciates its employees for their expertise and equally respects the families of the staff. We are a company that values its clients and strives to ensure that we are delivering the very best in all we do, whether it is to plan, fund, open or manage a sports or recreation venue—we are here to help.”

Pathik adds that Emily’s experience in leadership development and background in educational marketing will assist SFA|SFM by providing first-hand knowledge of the sports industry at many levels.

“Emily will be an influential force in assisting [SFA|SFM] to develop programs that help improve the community through special projects and educational initiatives which positively impact the economy.  We look forward to seeing her accomplish and align these goals with SFA|SFM’s mission.”

Emily joins several other industry veterans recently hired by SFA|SFM, including Steve Daugherty and Steve Eaton, formerly of Disney’s Wide World of Sports and Disney Theme Parks Disney, as well as former Ford Field Stadium General Manager Joan LeMahieu.

SFA|SFM’s portfolio includes more than $4 billion in planned and operational facilities, thereby staking out a niche as an industry leader in the management of such complexes, and providing the planning, financing and management expertise needed to turn ideas into quality recreation facilities. The company’s current fleet of projects includes opening more than 1.5 million square feet of indoor facilities and nearly 600 acres of outdoor complexes.
