BROOKINGS, S.D. – July 27, 2015 – Daktronics (NASDAQ-DAKT) of Brookings, South Dakota, has partnered with Stanford University to design, manufacture and install a Daktronics centerhung display system. Installation is slated for this summer at Maples Pavilion in Stanford, California.
The centerhung display configuration will include four main displays each measuring approximately 8.5 feet high by 15.5 feet wide. The main displays will feature 6 millimeter line spacing and industry-leading wide angle visibility for a superior viewing experience from any seat in the house. Variable content zoning allows these displays to show one large picture or to show smaller zones filled with any combination of live video, instant replays, animations, scoring information and sponsor advertisements.
Four corner displays will complement the centerhung configuration by adding approximately 70 square feet of display space. These displays can showcase event sponsors and enhance the game-day experience by showing up-to-the-minute statistics and game information.
