DURHAM, NC – [Monday, November 10, 2014] – Teamworks, a leading provider of collaboration and communication software for athletic organizations, today announced it will be the Official Team Collaboration Software Provider to the College Football Playoff.

“The majority of FBS [Football Bowl Subdivision] football programs already use Teamworks, so it was natural for us to be on the Teamworks platform as well,” said Laila Brock, Director of Team Operations and Logistics at the College Football Playoff. “Teamworks will allow us to efficiently communicate and to share and collect information not only with our staff and the staff at each participating bowl included in this year’s postseason, but also the representatives of the teams participating in each game.”

Teams participating in the College Football Playoff this year, as well as staff working with each bowl, will be able to securely access important documents, complete all required forms, view schedules, and access key contacts directly from their Teamworks mobile app. Teams will also receive individual alerts and mass communications from the College Football Playoff staff and bowl staff through Teamworks’ Messaging platform.

Teamworks’ Founder and President, Zach Maurides, states, “Working with the College Football Playoff is a natural step for Teamworks. We have proudly provided time-saving technologies and service to collegiate athletic departments since 2007, and we are excited to now expand our service to the teams’ postseason experience.”
