SAN DIEGO - May, 2012 - Total Gym has been deemed "Best in Class for Medical Wellness Training Equipment," by the Medical Wellness Association (MWA).

At the 10th annual Medical Wellness Forum during the International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association's 2012 International Convention (IHRSA), the MWA presented the first ever, Best of Medical Wellness Awards, recognizing companies that provided products and services that meet the highest medical wellness standards and guidelines.

Based on product service experience and reviews by the professional Association for the Medical Wellness Industry, Total Gym's equipment was chosen for its medical grade quality, durability and proven wellness benefits and applications.

"Based on our reviews, the Medical Wellness Association believes and recognizes that Total Gym personal training equipment offers top medical wellness quality and performance," says Christopher Breuleux, PhD and president of MWA. "We feel that Total Gym's training products can work effectively in hospitals, physical medical practices, sports medicine centers and physical therapy clinics."

The San Diego-based company's Total Gym equipment is used in more than 14,000 physical therapy clinics, athletic training facilities, hospitals, universities, professional sports teams and health clubs, inspiring over 24 million workouts worldwide.
