8 new LED Displays Provide Arena Versatility with Digital Content
BROOKINGS, S.D. – Nov. 13, 2015 – Western Kentucky University and IMG College have partnered with Daktronics (NASDAQ-DAKT) of Brookings, South Dakota, to provide upgrades to Diddle Arena in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The company designed, manufactured and installed the new vomitory LED displays late this summer in time for the upcoming Hilltoppers sports seasons.
The displays enhance the game-day experience for fans and student-athletes while providing an additional revenue source through greater flexibility and impact for sponsors’ messages.
Eight displays were installed above seating entrances in Diddle Arena. All displays feature 15 millimeter line spacing and each measures approximately 3 feet high by 9 feet wide. They provide all the versatility of digital signage including the ability to switch content quickly and seamlessly to highlight sponsors, entice fans to cheer louder at key points during games, and showing other announcements and game information. They show crisp, clear imagery with wide angle visibility to appeal to every seat in the arena.
