A new ProGrass field has been designed for University of Wisconsin-Platteville's Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium.

The university announced the development on its website Monday, the latest in a series of near-daily announcements it has posted since an EF2 tornado wound through campus June 16. Damages on campus could top $10 million, university officials have said.

The tornado heavily damaged the stadium, along with three residence halls and other structures on campus. University officials previously said the turf field would have to be replaced due to the amount of broken glass that saturated it.

Meanwhile, work continues on the buildings damaged on campus. Many damaged dorm rooms in residence halls Bridgeway Commons and Rountree Commons have been stripped down to their studs, and new drywall will start being hanged this week. At Southwest Hall, another residence hall, the evaluation of the exterior cladding continues.

Glass work has started at Engineering Hall, which had many of its windows broken by the storm.
