Synthetic Turf Council Vows to Eliminate Lead

The Synthetic Turf Council plans to remove as much lead as possible from all pigments used to color turf products by 2010. The announcement follows the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission's conclusion earlier this week that children who play on synthetic turf fields are not at risk for lead exposure.
