With the 2017 Reebok CrossFit Games set to kickoff Aug. 3 in Madison, Wis. – just a few miles from the Athletic Business offices – we thought we’d offer some insight on what it takes to run a CrossFit box.
Jeb Simmons is owner of CrossFit Fort Atkinson, in Fort Atkinson, Wis. In 2016, he was also the top-ranked CrossFit athlete in the Men’s Master’s division (age 40-44) in Wisconsin and 46th in worldwide rankings for his division. He’s hoping to add to his achievements at this year’s games. Jeb’s achievements as an athlete speak for themselves. We asked Jeb what it takes to succeed as the owner of a CrossFit box.
