The Germantown Indoor Swim Center is a comprehensive aquatic complex located amid more than 30 soccer fields and soccer-specific structures in South Germantown Recreational Park.

The new Swim Center occupies the highest point on the site near the entrance to the park. Upon entering the facility, patrons flow into a glassenclosed social space that overlooks each of the aquatic venues and provides access to spectator seating. Three separate basins make up the natatorium — a competition pool, an instructional pool and a family pool. Dual ?flying water slides? were designed to act as exciting elements that unify the aquatic venue. The slides are accessed from stairs in the competition pool area, run over the instructional pool and discharge swimmers in the family zone.

The competition pool is a deepwater pool with spectator seating on three sides to intensify the spectator and swimming experience. The instructional pool has been designed as a warm, shallow-water venue with teaching steps, a lap-swimming area, a water therapy area and a whirlpool. Designed to be an engaging environment for children of all ages, the family pool features rock forms and trees surrounding a multitude of features including a zero-depth entry, interactive water fountains, rock slides, a water mushroom, a vortex, a whirlpool and a frog slide.
