Augustana College’s redesigned Knowlton Athletic Complex provides an updated football field, track facilities and a physical education building, and generates excitement for fans on and off the field. Improvements include a new surface on the track, a new three-story stadium structure providing an additional 1,800 seats, and new team meeting rooms, locker rooms, athletic training facilities and offices for coaching staff. The new facility also boasts a conference room, reception areas, a press box and suites for entertaining.

The centerpiece of the new complex is the club building, a controlled-access facility used by alumni and VIP fans. Providing guests a high-end restaurant/bar venue with indoor and outdoor seating, the club is connected to the overall complex through the observation deck, a lively plaza area with concessions and patio seating.

The interior of the club is designed to be a celebration of Augustana College’s rich football tradition. Chair backs are branded with the school logo, walls and exposed steel trusses are painted Augustana blue and gold, banners of football championships hang from the trusses, and display cases show off school and football memorabilia.

The visitor and home sides of the field were reversed to provide the home fans better views. Bleachers on the previous home side were retained and repurposed into the visitors’ bleachers.
