The renovated and expanded Marks Tennis Stadium provides a vibrant new home for the University of Southern California men’s and women’s tennis programs, enhancing and expanding the historic venue to celebrate program history, recruit and develop athletes, and engage fans, alumni and donors. Designers focused on improving the experiences of all users through functional spaces and powerful branding.

For Trojan men and women tennis players, the design creates an inviting, elegant, bright and safe environment for training and competition. Both teams enjoy improved and enhanced suites, complete with lockers, showers, team meeting rooms and lounge spaces that support health and well-being. They also have access to a new training room, a racquet-stringing and storage area, and a large multipurpose room. A new student-athlete learning studio is designed to support daily collaboration between coaches, staff and athletes.

The new addition offers a welcoming entrance and lobby with displays honoring the rich history of USC tennis for fans and visitors. Outside, the stadium was already highly functional and supportive of both practice and tournaments, but was enhanced with improved grandstand seating. New spectator shade canopies were added to make for a more comfortable viewing experience.
