Sport City Coyoacan, located in a convenience center, boasts colonial Mexican style architecture that adheres to strict zoning codes. Many trees and green spaces surround the center.

Inside, domed ceilings receive natural light, and white walls and ceilings add to the bright, inviting atmosphere. Floors in all of the exercise areas are laminated or finished with wood, and ceramic and marble flooring are used in wet areas.

Entrances for the main club, children’s classes, the café and other specialized areas each boast their own control points, and wet-zone areas are self-contained.

The facility’s warehouse style was necessitated by the hardness of lava stone on the site. Other construction constraints included working around large, long-established trees and redesigning traffic flow in the parking lot.
