As snowstorms continue to cause all kinds of problems in the northeast, a New Hampshire athletic facility is dealing with a dramatic problem caused by the weather — a collapsed dome.
A dome at Milford, N.H.’s The Hampshire Dome complex depressurized and collapsed under the weight of snow and ice on Wednesday, Hampshire Hills Athletic Club officials told WMUR.com. No injuries were reported, and the facility had been closed since Tuesday.

No timetable for reopening has been announced. Officials need to assess the damage of the roof’s fabric, which tore during the collapse and will need to be repaired.
