Oakland University announced a new ticketing strategy aimed at engaging the school's young alumni under a model many of them are familiar with: subscriptions.
The school announced a subscription-based season ticketing model yesterday in a release on its website. Young alumni (those who graduated between 2009 and 2018) are eligible for the program, which for a monthly fee lets fans into the general admission area for every regular season home athletic event at a discount.

The total investment for what the school is calling the Young Alumni Pass is $180, compared to $600 for the full price of admission to the 60-70 athletic events the pass will cover. Four payment options are available: $15 a month for 12 months, $20 a month for 9 months, $30 a month for 6 months, and a one-time $180 purchase.
