Police have arrested and charged four people after protestors rappelled from an overhang at Bank of America Stadium and hung a banner during last night’s "Monday Night Football" game.

According to the Charlotte Observer, the activists were protesting Bank of America’s funding of a liquefied natural gas facility in Maryland. One man and one woman unfurled a banner that read “BoA” Dump Dominion,” with a link to the protest’s website.

While police haven’t released the names of the people who were arrested yet, We Are Cove Point, the organization that sponsored the protest, identified them as David Baghdadi, Erica Madrid, John Nicholson and Angela Vogel.

“Bank of America is allowing companies like Dominion to operate without checks and balances,” Nicholson said in a news release from We Are Cove Point. “They are giving money directly to Dominion with full knowledge of the health and safety risks of building an LNG (liquefied natural gas) export facility, and they need to be accountable to that.”

Police and firefighters converged to the scene as the protestors held their banner. Stadium staff emptied out the section as a precaution, and no injuries were reported.

Police issued orders to the protestors to come down, but the protestors refused. After lowering themselves during the third quarter, they were arrested.
