Facility Friday: Missouri’s South Endzone Facility, West Point Stadium Renovation

The University of Missouri released video of 3D renderings of its forthcoming update to its endzone football operations facility. The new facility will provide training areas, hydrotherapy and recovery space, meeting rooms and coaches’ offices, as well as an upgraded locker room. Fan amenities include 16 suites, a 750-person field-level club, an indoor club seating area, and general seating. —MUTigers.com

West Point announced in a video plans to renovate Michie Stadium. As part of their capstone project, a group of Cadets worked with architecture and engineering firms to develop the concept, which calls for a remodel of the eastern side of the stadium. Plans call for updates to both Cadet and premium seating, and for the creation of a Memorial Plaza to honor fallen graduates of the Academy. —FootballScoop.com

The University of North Dakota is seeking authority to raise funds for Phase 2 of the school’s indoor practice facility — the High Performance Center. Phase 2 would include spectator seating, coaches’ offices, locker rooms for football and track and field, a strength and conditioning area, a sports medicine space, and a student-athlete academic center. The school is seeking permission from the State Board of Higher Education and the state legislature to privately raise $35 million for the project. —Grand Forks Herald

The University of Minnesota released a video highlighting its new football facility, the David & Janis Larson Performance Center. The facility features a 16,000-square-foot weight room, an indoor practice facility, a locker room, a training room, meeting rooms, a players lounge and a team Hall of Fame. —Landof10.com

The University of Scranton dedicated its Kevin P. Quinn, S.J., Athletics Campus after a 14-month renovation. Complete with three synthetic turf fields, the facility is home to the school’s soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, baseball and softball teams. It includes bleacher seating, a field house with team locker rooms, a training room and community areas. —The Times-Tribune

The University of Oklahoma held a dedication ceremony and open house for its renovated Switzer Center last week. The center, which was renovated as part of a $160 million project, was actually completed last year — but the open house allowed fans a glimpse of areas not typically open to the public. Among them was coach Lincoln Riley’s 1,800-square-foot office. —Tulsa World
