No Post-Suspension Return for WKU Swimming, Diving
A recent budget meeting at Western Kentucky University concluded in a $1.14 million reduction to the school’s athletics operating budget. The new budget was approved Friday by the Board of Regents and includes the elimination of all funds previously allocated to the WKU swimming and diving program.

As sports teams learn to harness the power of smartphone apps and social media to promote their brand and increase fan engagement, an unanticipated side effect is that being outside — and in the direct light of the sun — is an impediment to screen usage. That's where shade structures come in.
