YMCA Awarded $275K Investment Grant

The Upper Kanawha Valley YMCA has been given a $275,000 ARC grant to apply toward its Montgomery facilities.

The grant will help the Upper Kanawha Valley YMCA move forward in bringing full time operations to its Montgomery facility. The funds will be used to hire staff and make enhancements to the 50-year-old college athletic building for it to become available for multiple age groups to use.

A grant presentation was made on Tuesday, Nov. 14, in the Governor's Reception Room at the state Capitol in Charleston.
