Toronto, CANADA â€“ Technology and football will collide at Super Bowl 50 in Silicon Valley, while tackling an important issue affecting communities throughout the USA. In events leading up to the big game, SwingTrackTM football simulators will play the dual role of exciting fans while helping to raise awareness around physical inactivity among youth.

“Fan experience is critical to the success of major sporting events and SwingTrackTM football simulators draw big crowds, encourage physical activity and create memories that fans share,” said Peter Muellerchen, President of Visual Sports, the world’s leading manufacturer of sport simulators.  â€śIn addition, the use of SwingTrackTM to help address the importance of physical activity in today’s youth is a testament to what technology and sport can accomplish together.”

Fans of all ages will experience the feeling of being a pro at three events in the buildup to Super Bowl 50, where the Denver Broncos will face the Carolina Panthers. At NFL Experience driven by Hyundai (www.nfl.com/superbowl/50/events), kids can try to lead their team to a Super Bowl winning touchdown in the NFL Play 60 Quarterback Toss, part of the NFL Play 60 Zone presented by Danimals. The games use real sports equipment, encouraging youth to get up and get moving – aligning perfectly with the goals of the NFL Play 60 campaign.

SwingTrackTM will also be at the 25th annual Taste of the NFL charity event on Feb. 6, where fans can participate in the simulator’s Field Goal Challenge.

Lastly, on game day, fans will have the opportunity to unleash their inner Peyton Manning, Cam Newton or Colin Kaepernick in the San Francisco 49ers’ simulator at Levi’s Stadium.

SwingTrackTM’s technology provides the Broncos, a Visual Sports client, and other organizations the capability of customizing features – branding, game formats, stadium environments, team uniforms, players and advertising (view link for branding in the Taste of the NFL game – https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzWfP8PFHInUMnAyTy0wZDJiZjQ/view). The realism of the football games heightens authenticity and encourages frequent play among adults and especially today’s youth.

Super Bowl 50 is the latest in a series of partnerships between Visual Sports and some of the top organizations in football. Super Bowl XLIX featured a SwingTrackTM simulator as part of the NFL Experience and a number of NFL teams deploy them to engage fans at home games. These teams include the Denver Broncos, defending Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots and the San Francisco 49ers.
