Professional Fitness Trainers and Transformation Specialists Honored with the Prestigious IDEA Jack LaLanne Award at the 2018 IDEA® World Convention
San Diego, CA.–June 5, 2018–IDEA Health & Fitness Association is pleased to announce Heidi and Chris Powell as the 2018 recipients of the prestigious IDEA Jack LaLanne Award at the upcoming 2018 IDEA® World Convention, the largest global fitness and wellness event in the world, scheduled for June 27–July 1, in San Diego.
The annual award honors those who have made a significant and lasting contribution in fitness, nutrition and wellness, inspiring the world to fitness through work in the media or public eye. The award will be presented during the Opening Ceremonies of the IDEA World Convention, Thursday, June 28.
The powerhouse couple are celebrity trainers and transformation specialists who host the hit ABC show, Extreme Weight Loss. They are authors and trainers for America’s Fittest Couple Challenge 2 and regularly travel the world as motivational speakers, striving to educate and inspire.

The IDEA Jack LaLanne Award was created in 2011 and was awarded posthumously to Jack LaLanne in its inaugural year.
