Little League Baseball and Softball Powers Up With SKLZ

CARLSBAD, CA - August 7, 2012 - SKLZ, the global leader in athletic skill and performance training products, announced today its new partnership with Little LeagueĀ® Baseball and Softball. As the Preferred Training Partner, SKLZ will assist the nationwide youth sports program advance coach and player expertise through online content, training programs and products focused on the development of baseball and softball players' skills, athleticism and knowledge.

SKLZ will incorporate knowledge and instruction from its extensive brand ambassador lineup of players and coaches into its customized programs for Little League. Current ambassadors include Albert Pujols of the Los Angeles Angels, Florida Pride catcher Megan Willis, University of San Diego Head Baseball Coach Rich Hill and Long Beach State Head Baseball Coach Troy Buckley. These ambassadors will help in the creation of video series for Little League, with a special emphasis on supporting coaches in tee ball and early player development.

Additionally, SKLZ will be supporting Little League Baseball and Softball with training products at all levels of the organization. The product assortments will be focused on enhancing hitting, fielding, and throwing, as well as the overall athleticism of the players. Products will be offered individually to players and their families, as well as in kits to give coaches a full set of items to kick-start their training regimens.
