Colorado Springs, CO/December 4, 2014 — Non-profit National Swimming Pool Foundation® (NSPF®) announces five promotions in response to growing demand in scope and geography for NSPF training materials and programs.

The promotions are of existing team members who have proven excellence in supporting NSPF Instructors and professionals who strive to keep pools safer, keep pools open, and encourage more people to become active in the water. “Our training scope has grown across all industry segments. Our geographical reach has grown with a key executive in Brussels, and over 110 authorized instructors outside the U.S.,” commented Thomas M. Lachocki, Ph.D., and CEO of the NSPF. “We are educating professionals online and in person with materials in Spanish, French, Russian, and Ukrainian,” he added.

The National Swimming Pool Foundation has witnessed 11 consecutive years of mission-focused educational growth and forecasts continued increases for 2015. “NSPF plays a key and unique role among thought leaders in our field. The NSPF Authorized Instructors we are honored to support are the leading industry educators. NSPF reinvests training revenue into research and philanthropic giving that enhances safer aquatic experiences and fosters growth,” explained Scot Hunsaker, President of the NSPF Board of Directors. “We are stronger than ever as we enter our 50th anniversary year,” he added.
