CHICAGO (Oct. 17, 2017) – Connor Sports and their Atlanta-area dealer, Norcross, GA-based CBA Sports, partnered with the Atlanta Hawks, Jr. NBA and the Atlanta Police Department to support Ballin 4 Peace on Saturday, Oct. 14.
Ballin 4 Peace was a full-day event held at the Rosel Fann Recreation Center in Atlanta that included a series of workshops and listening sessions for youth age 10 to 18 centered on gang violence, bullying, interacting with police and making positive decisions.
The event also featured a Parents Resource Center offering crime-prevention tips from members of the Atlanta Police Department, a job fair and an information forum with Hope Inside Atlanta.
The event concluded with a celebrity basketball game featuring former Atlanta Hawks’ Salim Stoudamire; Sedric Toney; Joe Smith; Theo Ratliff and others.
