Hillsdale, MI May 16, 2017 — The Q-LED GameChanger by Qualite has been named a 2017 Finalist for the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA). IDEA is a premier international design competition sponsored by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA). This is Qualite’s second finalist award for the revolutionary Q-LED GameChanger. Qualite has recently been named a Gold Edison Awards winner which honors excellence in innovation.
IDEA designs are judged by renowned design experts from around the world. Judging is based on design innovation, user experience, benefit to client, benefit to society, and appropriate aesthetics. Eric Boorom, Qualite Owner, states “We knew we created a revolutionary, innovative lighting system but to be a finalist for two distinguished awards validates everything.” Nick Page, Qualite President, adds “When we designed the GameChanger we had the customer in mind. We wanted to create a system that was easy to control, inexpensive to upgrade, maintenance free, and had the lowest cost of installation with the least amount of on-site packaging waste on the market. We not only hit these goals but we exceeded them.”
IDEA 2017 Bronze winners will be announced at the end of May, and the Gold and Silver winners will be announced at a Ceremony and Gala at the annual IDSA International Conference in Atlanta, Georgia from August 16th to August 19th, 2017.
