Louisville, Kentucky, April 4, 2014 — Recreonics, Inc., a global supplier of commercial swimming pool equipment, is proud to announce
their entire national sales team recently achieved
re-certification through the prestigious Certified

Pool/Spa Operator® (CPO®) certification program created by the non-profit National Swimming Pool Foundation® (NSPF®).

The sales team members completed the course
through the blended FusionTM program offered by
NSPF. Each participant enrolled in the online NSPF
Pool Operator PrimerTM course and upon achieving a
successful record of completion, they completed a one-day CPO Certification classroom course and test.

“We believe it is so important for our sales consultants to have the same high level of training as our customers, providing assurance that our team has the depth of knowledge and background to effectively assist them in every way,” explained Michael Garland, Executive Vice President of Recreonics, Inc. “The average tenure of our sales team is over 20 years; for many of them, this is the fourth or fifth time they have been re-certified,” he added. “Our greatest resource as a company is the knowledge base and dedication of our sales consultants.”

“By earning a CPO certification, industry professionals gain exposure to a spectrum of issues and solutions to protect users and improve the aquatic experience,” commented Thomas M. Lachocki, Ph.D, CEO of the NSPF. “We commend Recreonics for taking a leadership role to champion the importance of training, elevating our industry through education,” he added.

The Certified Pool/Spa Operator certification program is taught by an NSPF Certified Instructor and includes pool and spa chemistry, testing, treatment, filtration, maintenance, automatic feeding equipment, and government regulations including the most current information on the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool & Spa Safety Act (P&SS Act), American Disability Act (ADA) regulations and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Model Aquatic Health Code (MAHC).

The CPO certification program is the leading international education and certification program for pool and spa service professionals, pool and spa operators and health officials, protecting the public from illness and injury. More than 350,000 professionals have been trained worldwide and the NSPF materials have been used in 81 countries.
