Today, in their latest and greatest effort to give back, Retro Fitness has donated $10K of products to Elmhurst Hospital, Wycoff Medical Center, and New York Presbyterian Hospital to aid the healthcare workers who have worked around the clock to save lives.
By working together with partner Europa Sports Products, Retro Fitness has been able to donate 228 cases of protein drinks, snacks and energy drinks from brands such as Muscle Milk, Nature’s Best, American Body Builder, Optimum Nutrition and Cytosport. The products were isolated for four days prior to delivery and sprayed with disinfectant to ensure a sanitized, safe delivery.
Retro Fitness Area Manager Alex Taveras and Franchise Owner Warren DeStefano were inspired to help give back to the community after losing two members of their own Retro Fitness communities. Retro Fitness continues to stand by its community by showing support for its employees and members. Whether there is a Retro Fitness member that may be going through treatment at one of the local hospitals or working as a healthcare provider at one of these hospitals, Retro Fitness sees the support of its community through these actions every day and throughout the year as well.
