January 26th, 2014 – Technogym, the leading producer of design and technology-driven fitness equipment, will showcase the first Google Glass controlled treadmill at the ISPO 2014, the most important international trade fair for Sport Business and Sportswear, from January 26-29 in Munich. With this innovative technology the users will be able to interact with the treadmill using their Google Glass and they will receive feedback on their training on the Glass display right away. Visitors can view the treadmill, which has been named winner of the ISPO Award “PRODUCT OF THE YEAR 2014” in the performance segment, at the ISPO Award booth (hall A2, booth 309).
Thanks to the brand new UNITY technology, the android-based console display platform for cardio training equipment, Technogym equipment is open to any app or third party device.
The features are designed to provide each user with a fully personalized experience on their personal training program, data and favorite entertainment options. UNITY is part of “Wellness on the Go,” Technogym’s complete experience that allows users to engage and connect with others on any piece of Technogym equipment, anywhere in the world thanks to the mywellnesscloud platform, the Technogym cloud computing platform specifically designed for fitness and wellness.
