USA Football Hires Former NCAA Managing Director to Lead Its Football Operations

Indianapolis – USA Football announced today the hiring of KEITH MARTIN to serve as managing director of football operations.

Martin will be responsible for developing innovative standards and best practices to continue advancements across high school and youth football. He will direct football education and curriculum, events and day-to-day football operations for the organization. USA Football is the sport’s national governing body and a member of the U.S. Olympic Committee. 

“As a football parent, coach and player, this sport has always been an important part of my life,” said Martin. “I am inspired to join the USA Football family, which continues to grow the sport through innovation and smarter play. The positive experiences young athletes and families attain through the fun and excitement of football are powerful and lasting. Football builds community at every stage of participation and I am excited to continue be part of this great game.”

Martin joins USA Football after 28 years with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), most recently serving as its managing director of championships and alliances. His NCAA duties included overseeing branding and fan experience, broadcast media services, corporate relationships, ticketing and marketing, digital and social media, licensing, merchandising, statistics, and championship media coordination.
