A fitness club employee in Missouri has been arrested after he was charged with secretly taking nude photos of his girlfriend, sister and dozens of women while they tanned at the facility.

Michael Koch, 26, posted the photos, which were taken between May 2016 and November 2017, to a Russian photo-sharing website, according to the St. Louis Fox affiliate.

In all, Koch posted 175 photos of women in various stages of undress at the Club Fitness location. Koch had worked at the club from 2010 to 2017.

Police are now looking to identify the names of the women in the photos so they can get an accurate count of how many women were actually photographed.

"There's a lot of good images of faces and identifiable tattoos that if we could just get a name to it, it'd be really helpful," said St. Peters Police officer Melissa Doss.

Koch was ultimately caught in 2018 when he was in a tanning booth and took cellphone images of a woman undressing in the booth next to him by standing on a chair and stretching his arm over the partition. The woman caught Koch and notified club management.

Michelle Micheletti, director of marketing for Club Fitness, issued a statement saying, "Club Fitness takes every measure to ensure the personal privacy and security of our employees and members. Should there be any suspicions or reports about inappropriate actions or privacy abuse, we will contact the authorities immediately."

Koch was arrested Tuesday and charged with two counts of invasion of privacy and one count of attempted invasion of privacy.  He posted $1,500 bond and was released the same day.
