A Michigan football player used Twitter over the weekend to threaten head coach Jim Harbaugh.

According to NBC Sports, Michigan linebacker Elysee Mbem-Bosse, wrote on Twitter that he’d been suspended for leaving to take care of a family matter. Things took an ominous turn after that, with Mbem-Bosse posting “Let’s not have a murder case On your hands.”

Mbem-Bosse went on to request an apology from Harbaugh, along with a reminder that “Michigan is open carry. Let’s not forget. Not your friend.”

Police were investigating the matter and Mbem-Bosse has deleted all of the tweets since the incident took place.

The University of Michigan has not released a statement on the matter, and Mbem-Bosse is no longer listed on the Wolverine’s roster.

Mbem-Bosse, a three-star signee in 2016, played in a total of 12 games with Michigan, including five in 2017.
