The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation welcomes all central Pennsylvania children with Type 1 Diabetes and their families to a Type 1 Family Fun Day on Sunday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Spooky Nook Sports, where indoor courts, fields and other facilities will be available for the day. The event is free of charge to families who pre-register.

Activities will be led by Diabetes Destiny in partnership with JDRF. Lunch is provided, and parents can also attend educational panels and information sessions.

If you would like to support JDRF, join the Lancaster Walk to Cure Diabetes on July 1. The event will take place at Clipper Magazine Stadium and, following the walk, you'll be able to watch a Barnstormers game. Register your team at walk.jdrf.org.
