The new Ianniello Field House is a physical representation of the strength and innovation of Pace University’s emerging sports program. This facility and the new outdoor venues surrounding it upgrade and reinforce the role athletics plays at the university.

The intent of the “Fusion Building” is to be an iconic gateway to the stadium. The glass entry pavilion is a campanile for the complex. Positioning the facility to the west of the south end zone creates an inviting entryway to the event plaza. The design allows the adjacent Leinhard Hall to expand over the fieldhouse, creating a fusion of academic programming. As the new face of Pace Athletics, the fieldhouse is designed to capture the spirit of speed, agility and power displayed during games. The composition of materials is consistent with the new campus architecture.

The ground level encompasses three locker rooms, a training room, equipment and laundry rooms, and a public lobby space. The second level features a large multipurpose room that can be used for team meetings or events. There will also be coaches’ offices and a weight room. The phased building will double the university’s capacity for athletics programming.
