The Clinic and Wellness Center complements the recently expanded HealthEast Sports Center by augmenting the city’s youth-oriented recreation with a destination for physical therapy, nutrition and wellness services. This innovative public/private partnership supports endless wellness opportunities.
Visitors step into a modern reception area from a dedicated entrance adjacent to the entry plaza. The lobby showcases Summit Orthopedics’ mission of promoting active lifestyles with direct sightlines into the physical therapy and wellness gym. The design fosters a welcoming and energetic environment. Amenities such as private shower rooms, retail space and a market with self-checkout perpetuate a hospitality feel.
The gym is framed by a 25-foot wall of windows that offers ample daylight and motivating views of the picturesque surroundings. Four treatment rooms border the back wall. An open staircase along the interior wall leads to additional cardio equipment overlooking the main level.
The second floor features a waiting area supporting a clinic with seven exam rooms and general imaging services. A series of internal windows overlooking the fieldhouse were added during the fit-up design. They provide a visual connection between the two dynamic spaces. The fieldhouse can be utilized for agility training during therapy sessions. A multipurpose area on the second floor provides space for after-hours education and group fitness.
