An impressive icon of the Northwest Independent School District, Northwest Stadium sits on an elevated plane along the area’s busiest thoroughfare and offers a state-of-the-art synthetic turf playing field for football, soccer and band competitions. The stadium also makes available for reservation fully furnished and air-conditioned VIP suites. Able to accommodate up to 30 people each, the suites boast closed-circuit televisions, comfortable spectator seating and food serving space. In addition, television screens are mounted above most concessions stands, with students trained to operate the stadium’s camera, scoreboard and replay technology. Specially designed covered porches are reserved for band and drill team parents who wish to film halftime performances. Stadium walls were designed with band contest acoustics in mind.

A field house at the north end of the stadium accommodates athletic department offices, dressing and locker rooms, and conference rooms for district meetings. Its medical center is home to athletic trainers and team doctors. The stadium’s two-tone brick exterior complements the surrounding buildings, matching the lighter brick used on the high school and the darker brick used on the administration building, elementary school and middle school. Details were borrowed from area professional sports venues, including Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, home of MLB’s Texas Rangers.
